About PlayViser
What ages is PlayViser for?
PlayViser is for parents and caregivers of newborns, babies and toddlers. Milestones run from birth to 5 years.
Which devices does it work on?
iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets, in 14 languages.
Can my partner or nanny use it too?
Yes. Invite them to your child's profile and they can see and add to everything for that child. You can remove them at any time.
Is PlayViser medical advice?
No. PlayViser gives general information. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it isn't for emergencies. If you're worried about your child, talk to a health professional.
Videos and AI
What happens to the videos I record?
Your video is uploaded so it can be analysed, and it's deleted once the Play Insight finishes or fails. We keep the written insight, plus a still image and short clip saved as a moment in your child's memories. You can delete these.
If the app is closed or the connection is lost partway through, a copy may remain until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
Which AI does PlayViser use?
Our AI features use Gemini models from Google. We ask your permission before you first use them, and you can turn this off at any time in Account, under AI features. The features won't work while it's off.
Is my child's information used to train AI?
No. We don't use your information to train AI models, and our agreement with Google for this service doesn't allow Google to use it to train theirs.
Can the AI get things wrong?
Yes. Insights, answers and nutrition estimates can be wrong or incomplete, so check logs before you save them and use your own judgement.
Privacy and your data
Do you sell my information?
No. We never sell your personal information, and there are no ads in the app. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Account, then Delete Account. If you can't get into the app, email support@playviser.com from your account's email address.
Deleting a child you created also deletes them for the caregivers you shared them with, so let them know first.
Plans and payment
Is PlayViser free?
Yes. Free includes logging, milestones and activities, one child, one Play Insight and three days of Day Map. Premium adds the rest.
How do I cancel Premium?
Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel your subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Apple and Google handle refund requests under their own policies, so please ask them directly. Your rights under consumer law aren't affected.
